Hundreds of students of Moi Girls High School in Isinya yesterday (25th January) went on the rampage blocking the busy Namanga in protest after their school gate was demolished by bulldozers from the Kenya National Highway Authority who had marked the gate for demolition but the structure had not yet been pulled down.


The students seemingly irked by the move of the Highways Authority to demolish their gate caused a huge traffic Jam on the Highway before they were restrained and calmed down.


Sources told the Kitengelabiznet that the Schools, a National School, Gate was earmarked for demolition but the School Authorities repainted the gate again.
