There will be no KCPE and KCSE national exams this year, Education CS Prof. George Magoha has said.

Speaking during a presser today, the CS there will be no KCPE and KCSE examinations in 2021 because the current Standard 7 and Form 3 students will, practically, not be able to cover the curriculum load for 5 Terms in one year and sit for the examinations.

This means all students to repeat their classes. Education minister said the 2020 academic year is considered lost.

“All learners in grade 1 to 4, Standard 5 to 7 and Form 1 to 3 to remain in the current classes in 2021,” Prof Magoha stated.

However, Universities that meets the irreducible minimums on #COVID19 regulations to consider reopening from September.
