E-Learning is changing and we will see new models, new technologies and new designs emerge.
Automobile Association of Kenya (AAK) has become the first driving school to offer E-Learning to Learner Drivers in the country. They have resume services after President Uhuru Kenyatta opened up the country for business after Covd-19 hit that has seen the dropping in country’s economy.
According to Chief Executive Officer Francis Theuri, the portal was developed to allow Learner Driver Students to train and cover the required curriculum online in order to qualify for Government Driver Test and get Driving Licenses.
Theuri said after finishing E-Learning Course and attaining the required internal assessment test pass mark, one shall then report to any nearest AA Kenya branch for Practical lessons using the AA Training Vehicles before booking the Government Test.
However, defensive driving classes will go on after Covid-19.
“This is because the theoretical part of the course includes presentations by our experienced AA Kenya facilitators coupled with power point presentations, video shows and training materials based on practical experiences on the road,” he said.
Theuri said: “You can’t teach people everything they need to know. The best you can do is position them where they can find what they need to know when they need to know it. Our E-Learning platform is a platform where students of AA Kenya Driving School can continue and progress with their learning from the comfort of their homes, schools, offices and other things.”
He said they have ensured to follow all the regulations and standards set by the Ministry of Health to combat Coronavirus.
AA of Kenya Driving School is the oldest in Kenya founded in 1962 and shares its expertise with other automobile clubs in Africa. The school is renowned and respected for its commitment to safe and responsible driving as well as its experienced competent and disciplined instructors all certified and licensed by the Government of Kenya.
They also offer other services such as fleet management solutions, fuel management solutions, basic car tracking and generator monitoring.
