Former Vice President and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has called on Kajiado residents and the wider Maa community to support his 2022 presidential ambitions saying he is the best bid.
During a consultative meeting with the Maa leaders, Mudavadi decried the current political situation and the hide and seek games of the government and the former Prime Ministers side.
Speaking in Kajiado town, he said the government is compromising the once vocal opposition leaders through hand-shake by giving them non-existent roles.
“They are promising them an elusive cabinet reshuffle that would see their associates being incorporated in the cabinet,” he stated
On BBI, Mudavadi said his position is that the country needs a strict implementation of the Constitution rather than focusing on selective amendments that are generally about creating positions geared towards satisfying personal political ambitions.
Mudavadi who attended the Maasai’s Oleng’sherr ceremony held at Maparasha Hills also paid a courtesy call to Kajiado County Governor Joseph ole Lenku who was present during the meeting. In attendance were Kajiado Deputy Governor Martin Moshisho and Kajiado Central MP Elijah Memusi.
